Richard Reeves, BASc, MBA
Senior Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance Consultant
Richard Reeves provides expert international regulatory and quality experience in Biotech, Medical Device, Biologics and Pharma industries. He brings more than 20 years of corporate and entrepreneurial experience in life science and medical product firms. Mr. Reeves has been a Vice President of RAQA in Fortune 500 companies and joint ventures with up to a dozen sites worldwide reporting to him. He has participated in over 100 audits by regulatory agencies around the globe, and met face to face with many regulatory agencies including the US FDA, US NRC, Health Canada, ASN (France), BfArM (Germany) and Swissmedic.
Mr. Reeves’ compliance experience includes product submissions, Quality System development and remediation, Audit and Due Diligence services to device, biologics and drug developers, manufacturers and investment firms. Mr. Reeves has served as Vice President of Intuitive Surgical in 2014 and has been consulting since that time. His corporate experience includes the Oncology Division of Varian Medical Systems which manufactured medical linear accelerators, cyclotrons and x-ray systems and Sanmina-SCI, the largest global OEM manufacturer of medical electronics.
In these roles, he has worked directly with over a dozen regulatory agencies worldwide. He is a member of the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS), and Chair Emeritus for the San Francisco chapter of RAPS. He holds a BSc in Physical Chemistry and MBA both from the University of California at Berkeley.
Mr. Reeves will bring expert strategy, project management, problem solving and team management to the Cerneos Group team.
